Toscana Rosso IGT / Podere Casaccia
Rarely made on its own, Canaiolo is used to add colour and lighten the body of stronger grapes in the classic Chianti blend. At Podere Casaccia, making things as natural as possible means also making wine from this variety alone.
It has a beautiful red robe, hints of fresh flowers and pepper, and a well-balanced, slightly earthy finish. Warm, velvety, enjoyable and made for happy drinking!
Only 866 bottles produced in 2017.
